
We are pleased to share that the Internal Revenue Service has determined Charity and Empowerment Beyond Borders Inc is exempt from federal income tax under IRC Section 501(c)(3). Donors can deduct contributions under Section 170, and the organization is classified as a public charity under Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi).
The determination (Letter 947, dated January 16, 2025) lists our Employer Identification Number as 87-3609196, with an effective date of exemption of May 15, 2024. Our accounting period ends December 31, and we remain committed to filing required annual information returns or electronic notices.

What this means for donors
Contributions to CEBB are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We are also qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under IRC Sections 2055, 2106, or 2522.
